Overview

Hiring a Warehouse Manager

 

Qualifications:

 

– Completion of a college or university program in business administration or in a discipline related to facility operation and maintenance or An equivalent combination of technical training and experience in administration or maintenance.

– Several years (2 ~ 3 years) of supervisor experience in warehouse environment is required.

– Knowledge and experience dealing with the Korean & Asian foods & produce is an asset.

– Proficiency in English is required.

 

Duties:

 

– Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of warehouse facilities for storing/managing fresh produce including a wide variety of Asian greens, other specialty & seasonal vegetables, fruits and Korean & Asian food items

-Oversee the leasing of space in the facility and the included real estate

– Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal of the warehouse

– Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems

– Plan and manage the warehouse’s operations budget

– Prepare or oversee the preparation of reports related to areas of responsibility to the management

– Hire and oversee training and supervision of warehouse staffs

 

Working Condition:

– 30 working hours per week (Full-time & Permanent position), Wage: $44.25/hr, 10 days paid vacation or 4% of vacation pay

– Flexible working hours is required including early morning shifts & Saturdays
