Position: Welding Machine Operator
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $36.00-$39.00/hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Number of Positions: 1
Work Location: 2944 Dickerson Place, Victoria, BC V9B 2G7

Job Duties:

Operate welding machines to fabricate, repair, and join metal components used in glass installation and support systems
Perform brazing and soldering tasks to bond metal parts or fill gaps, seams, and indentations in metal structures
Inspect welded and brazed components for quality and compliance with specifications
Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs of welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Job requirements:

Experience: 7 months-1 year of related experience is required
Education: Completion of secondary school is required, or equivalent experience
Language: English
