Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $34.62~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 102-2945 Jacklin Road, Victoria, BC V9B 5E3

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Oversee and manage food preparation and cooking operations of the establishment

·         Develop menus while ensuring all dishes meet quality standards

·         Assess food supply needs and calculate food and labour costs

·         Supervise cooks and kitchen workers to ensure efficient kitchen operations

·         Coordinate the purchase and maintenance of kitchen equipment

·         Hire and train new kitchen staff in safety and job duties

·         Prepare and cook completes meals

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
