Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 4-5771 Turner Road, Nanaimo, BC V9T 6L8

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individuals dishes and foods

·         Plan and create new menus, decide portion sizes, and estimate food needs and costs

·         Keep track of inventory levels and order food supplies as necessary

·         Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and work area

·         May hire and train kitchen staff if needed

·         Oversee kitchen operations

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
