Overview

We are seeking a skilled, organized, and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are maintained, supervising kitchen staff, and assisting in creating an efficient and positive work environment. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen and food service staff involved in preparing, portioning, and serving meals.
* Ensure all food products and customer service meet established quality control and safety standards.
* Develop and implement work schedules, kitchen procedures, and sanitation practices to maintain efficient operations.
* Train employees on job responsibilities, food handling, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
* Monitor inventory levels, maintain records of stock, wastage, repairs, and sales, and place orders for ingredients and kitchen supplies as required.
* Assist in hiring food service staff and contribute to the development of operational policies, procedures, and budgeting plans.
* Prepare food order summaries and coordinate meal requests according to customer needs or dietary requirements.
* Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and support overall kitchen cost control measures.
* Oversee the assembly and delivery of regular and special meal trays to ensure accuracy and timely service.

– Completion of Secondary school

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full-time, 32 – 40 hours a week

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Starting date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Flexible hours, Morning, Day, Weekend

Pay: Salary $19.00/hour
