Tasks
– Prepare and submit reports
– Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
– Establish work schedules and procedures
– Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
– Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
– Prepare budgets and payrolls
-Maintain financial records
– Reconcile accounts
– Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
– Assist in preparing financial reports
– Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
– Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
– Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and administer contracts and other documents
– Prepare trial balance
