Position Info:

·         Position: Recreation Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $38.50/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 2

·         Work Location: 102-2764 Barnet Hwy, Coquitlam, BC V3B 1B9

Job Duties:

·         Provide expert consulting and strategic leadership in designing, developing, and administering specialized therapeutic recreation and physical rehabilitation programs

·         Directly supervise and evaluate professional clinical instructors, program leaders, and support staff to ensure high standards of program delivery

·         Analyze provincial healthcare and municipal recreation policies to align clinic programming with current regulatory standards and safety guidelines

·         Formulate policy recommendations and operational protocols regarding physical activity and rehabilitation procedures within the facility

·         Develop targeted partnership proposals and promotional materials for corporate wellness programs, healthcare partners, and local industry networks

·         Organize and manage specialized therapeutic programs and clinic-hosted promotional events

·         Author educational resources, clinical program guides, and promotional articles regarding physical health and recreation therapies

·         Manage high-level administrative functions, including operational budgeting, staff scheduling, and compliance record-keeping

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a program leader or instructor are required

·         Education: College diploma in a recreation, sports, or fitness program or equivalent experience is required

·         Language: English
