Job Description:

•           Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cooks, kitchen helpers, and counter staff to ensure smooth kitchen and service operations.

•           Oversee inventory management by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring the deli and fresh food section is fully equipped.

•           Ensure strict adherence to Canadian food safety and hygiene standards, to maintain a safe and compliant kitchen.

•           Train and mentor new staff on proper food handling techniques, portion control, and customer service best practices.

•           Address and resolve customer concerns and special requests, ensuring consistent quality and a positive response.

 

Job Requirement:

–        Completion of secondary school required.

–        Min. 1-2 years of food service supervisor experience required.

Term: Full-Time (30-40 hours per week), Permanent

Wage: $17.00 per hour

Benefit:  5.77% of salary as vacation pay
