Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Yacht Construction Project Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $130,000 – $140,000/year (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 12555 Crescent Road, Surrey, BC V4A 2V4

Job Duties:

·         Oversee yacht build lifecycles from initial concept to final commissioning

·         Manage yacht project scopes, budgets, milestones, and long-lead procurement

·        Lead communication and coordinate project requirements, priorities, and updates between internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients

·         Maintain documentation, schedules, and progress reports

·         Partner with engineering to review yacht technical drawings and schematics

·         Support teams across engineering and production to achieve project goals

·         Provide hands-on guidance directly on the production floor

·         Source equipment and review technical specifications with suppliers

·         Manage client relationships and coordinate owner’s custom requests

·         Proactively resolve yacht construction, schedule, and budget challenges

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field is required

·         Experience: 5 or more years of experience in the marine industry or large-scale construction, including experience as project manager or field superintendent is required
