10005259 Manitoba Ltd. (dba DAILY FOOD ORIENTAL SUPERMARKET) is seeking a Cashier to join their team.
Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week), $16.50 per hour. Standard 6-8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 10am and 10pm as required.

Duties:
·      Welcome customers and provide courteous service.
·      Scan and enter merchandise using the point-of-sale system.
·      Confirm product prices and calculate the total amount owing.
·      Weigh fresh produce and bulk food items.
·      Accept and process payments by cash, debit card, credit card, and other approved payment methods.
·      Pack customers’ purchases into bags or suitable containers.
·      Answer customer questions and provide information about products, prices, and store services.
·      Balance the cash register at the end of the shift and reconcile payments against recorded sales.
·      Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
·      Keep the checkout counter and surrounding work area clean and organized.

Requirements:
•       Secondary school completion required;

•       A minimum of one year of cashier experience is required;

•       Chinese language ability is an asset;

•       English language ability is required.
