Overview
The Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Ltd. (DCP) is seeking one Pharmacy Assistant (TEER 33103) to work in their Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy, at 622 3rd St. SW in Dauphin, Manitoba and to also work at their second location, Winnipegosis Clinic Pharmacy located at 200 1st Street in Winnipegosis, Manitoba, both pharmacies are in located in rural Manitoba. This position is to start as soon as possible. This will be a full-time, (30 to 40 hours per week), permanent position with wage at $25.40 per hour. DCP offers a dental plan, paramedical services coverage and vision care benefits.
Work must be completed at the physical locations above and there is no option to work remotely. The job requires work during the daytime both on weekdays and on weekends. Tasks are the following: enter client information in databases, help pharmacists, maintain inventories of medications & pharmaceutical products, prepare medications for clients, bill third party insurers, maintain supplies, maintain inventory of equipment, manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments, consult with ophthalmologist concerning insertion of ocular prostheses, and order supplies and equipment.
Must have a minimum of 1 to 7 months worked as a Pharmacy Assistant, completed secondary school, provide a criminal record check and hold a valid driver’s licence. Must have experience in and be able to use Kroll Software, MS excel, MS office and MS windows. Must provide a criminal record check. The work environment is face paced & physically demanding. Further the successful applicant must be able to complete repetitive tasks, have manual dexterity, pay attention to detail, and must be able to distinguish between colours. The ability to work under pressure, stand for extended period of time as well as bend, crouch and kneel. The successful applicant must be dedicated, accurate, be client focused, dependable, have excellent oral communication (English language), flexibility, show initiative, be reliable, & be able to multi-task.
