Title of Position: Tilesetter

Business Address: 1260 3 Avenue North, Lethbridge, Alberta

Terms of Employment: Full time, Permanent, 40 hours per week (Day, Weekends)

Vacancies: Two (2) positions available.

Wage: $34.76/per hour

Job Duties:

·         Load, unload and transport construction materials;

·         Prepare, measure and mark areas to be covered;

·         Prepare and apply adhesive substances;

·         Pack and remove grout in joints between tiles;

·         Cut, polish, fit and work with materials such as marble, granite and quartz;

·         Set, align, straighten, and affix tiles in place;

·         Set tiles according to pattern and designs;

·         Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles; and

·         Be able to use hand and power cutting tools to cut and fit tiles.

Education: Secondary School Certificate (High School)

Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Location of Work: Various locations in Lethbridge and the surrounding area
