Position Info:
- Position: Dental Assistant
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $33.00~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: Unit 202 – 9093 King George Boulevard, Surrey BC V3V 5V7

Job Duties:
- Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures
- Clean, disinfect, and manage dental tools and equipment
- Set up dental materials such as instruments, fillings, and compounds
- Take and develop X-rays
- Perform teeth polishing, apply fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts
- Provide patients with guidance on proper oral care and hygiene
- Handle administrative tasks including booking appointments, documenting treatments, and managing inventory of dental and office supplies
- May carry out certain intra-oral tasks like suture removal, recording patient vital signs, polishing teeth, performing coronal whitening, and creating, placing, and removing temporary crowns and fillings
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 1~2 years of relevant experience is required
- Education: Completion of an 8-month to 1-year college or other program in dental assisting is required
- Certificate: Registration with BCCOHP is required
