Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic worker to join our team of professional fiberglass technicians with experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Enjoys a challenge and has excellent problem solving skills
• Has experience in using fiberglass spray equipment such as a chopper gun and gelcoater is mandatory.

Job duties:

• Operate laminating equipment and hand tools to apply fiberglass to molds, trim polish products
  Assemble fiberglass products
  Read and interpret production drawings and specifications
  Prepare molds for part fabrication
  Inspect and repair any defects in products
  Operate grinders, trimmers, buffers, drills and spray equipment

Working Conditions

• Repetitive tasks
• Handling heavy loads up to 23 kg
• Physically demanding
• Attention to detail
• Standing, kneeling, crouching and walking

Terms of Employment

• Full Time permanent
• $19.50 – $25.00 per hour depending on qualifications
• Paid weekly

Experience requirements

• 3+ years of experience laminating fiberglass
• Woodworking is considered an asset
• Forklift experience is considered an asset
