About the Position
Emilie Meyers is seeking a caring, responsible, and dedicated Home Child Care Provider to assist with the daily care and well-being of children in a private household. The successful candidate will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that promotes children’s healthy growth and development. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and committed to providing high-quality care.

Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis; however, living in the employer’s home is not a condition of employment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and care for children in the employer’s residence
Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the children’s care
Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children
Support children’s daily routines and activities
Qualifications
College/CEGEP education
1 year to less than 2 years of related experience
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Strong communication skills in English
Genuine interest in child care and child development
Additional Requirements
Willing to travel as required
Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Travel expenses paid by employer
