Overview

A busy family in Laval is looking for a caregiver for an elderly person who needs support with daily living, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and general supervision. Permanent and full-time employment. 36 hours, 5 days per week. Hours: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:15 pm. Salary: 19.27$/h. Two days off: usually Saturday and Sunday, but this may vary depending on the employer’s needs, so flexibility is essential. Option to stay with the employer at no additional cost. The caregiver may have to assist the elderly person and ensure a safe environment in the absence of family members. Languages: French or English.

Educational level required: General High school diploma – Completed.
Experience related to employment: 1-2 years of experience with elderly persons or equivalence, including nursing, personal support work, home care, or similar studies.
Other conditions: Punctuality, reliability, patience, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and experience with elderly care.
