Job Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine sound insulation requirements and calculate materials needed.
  • Measure and cut insulating and sound-proofing materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
  • Install sound-absorbent materials (such as acoustic panels, fiberglass, or mineral wool) to walls, ceilings, and floors to prevent noise transmission.
  • Install Acoustic Sound Barrier K-Fonik-GK Barium Impregnated vinyl or similar product around supply and exhaust air fans
  • Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application methods.
  • Install vapor barriers and apply waterproofing/fireproofing finishes to insulated surfaces.
  • Remove old or asbestos-based asbestos or sound insulation materials according to safety protocols.

Education: Completion of secondary school
Work Experience: 3 years of verifiable experience as an insulator or sound insulator.
Additional Skills: Ability to work at heights, handle heavy physical labor, and operate standard insulation tools.
