Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position, between 30 and 40 hours per week. Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is October 1, 2026.
Language requirement: English.
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour.
Location: MaCa… lives in the town of Sherbrooke, Quebec. Sherbrooke is a rural town situated approx. 160 km from Montreal, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus and the metro are easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is rue Rostand and rue Beckett
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of a three children, ages 8, 6, and 3.
2- Organize simple games and activities to provide amusement and exercise
3- Help with the care and supervision of the children, especially when parents are not home.
4- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
5- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
6- General housework that will include doing laundry.
7- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver or equivalent training
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
