Job Posting – Home-care worker
Location: Toronto, ON, M5S 1M2. Work location: On site (no remote option), various locations.
Salary: $23.50 hourly / 30 hours per week.
Employment terms: Permanent, full-time; Shift, Night, Day, Weekend; Starts as soon as possible; Vacancies: 5.
Languages: English. Education: College/CEGEP. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
Tasks: Administer bedside and personal care; Administer medications; Assist clients in water (i.e. pool); Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene; Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk; Change non-sterile dressings; Demonstrate infant care to new parents; Feed or assist in feeding; Launder clothing and household linens; Mend clothing and linens; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Plan therapeutic diets and menus; Provide companionship; Provide personal care; Shop for food and household supplies; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Cook; Administer first aid in emergency situations.
Credentials: First Aid Certificate.
