Terms of Employment: Full-time, 2-year position

Hours: 40 hours per week, approximately 8 hours per day

Wage: $18.00 per hour. No incremental raises, performance pay or bonuses.

Language: No language requirements

Education: No formal education required

Work Experience: Previous farm-related experience is an asset, but not required.

Job Duties: Soak and prepare beans for production; prepare and place beans for sprouting; monitor temperature, humidity, light and other growing conditions; perform daily care and maintenance of bean sprouts; monitor the growing environment and address growing issues; harvest mature bean sprouts; sort, package and prepare bean sprouts for sale; and clean and maintain production facilities, tools and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety requirements.
