Position Info:

·         Position: Home support worker

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $24.50/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 20077 84 Avenue suite 211, Langley, BC V2Y 3X7

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Safely assist with and manage the client’s prescribed medication schedule

·         Support the client’s mobility by accompanying them on daily walks and assisting with light exercises

·         Take care of the client’s laundry, including personal clothes, towels, and bedsheets

·         Maintain a clean and tidy living space by doing light cleaning and organizing

·         Offer meaningful emotional support and friendly conversation to prevent social isolation

·         Assist the client with essential daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene

·         Run errands outside the home, such as grocery shopping and purchasing everyday household necessities

·         Cook and present healthy, well-balanced meals according to the client’s dietary preferences

Job requirements:

·         Experience is an asset

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
