Overview

A busy professional wife in Mont-Royal is looking for a caregiver for her husband who has a chronic illness and will also do housekeeping and other domestic tasks. Permanent and full-time employment. 30 hours, 5 days per week. Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Salary: $19/h. Two days off: usually Saturday and Sunday, but this may vary depending on the employer’s schedule, so flexibility is essential. Option to stay with the employer at no additional cost. The caregiver may be required to take care of the house and the husband in the absence of his wife. Languages: French or English.

Educational level required:
General high school diploma – completed.

Experience related to employment:
1–2 years of experience with a person with a chronic illness, or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a nurse, midwife, or psychologist, is required.

Punctuality, reliability, good judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and experience with person who has chronic illness.
