Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  3

·         Work Location: 208 Island Highway East, Parksville, BC V9P 2H7

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

·         Plan menus and determine size of food portions

·         Keep kitchen and work area clean and sanitized

·         Estimate food requirements and costs and order supplies

·         Supervise kitchen operations and schedule kitchen helpers

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

·         Involve in hiring and training of kitchen staff

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

·         Language: English
