Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $17.62 – $20.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 3

·         Work Location: 11156 84 Ave, Delta, BC V4C 2L7

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         May plan menus, determine portion sizes, and estimate the quantity of food needed along with its cost

·         Keep the kitchen and work area clean and sanitized

·         Prepare and cook entire meals following the restaurant’s recipes

·         May hire and train kitchen staff if necessary

·         Keep track of food inventory and reorder when needed

·         Oversee kitchen operations

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
