Position Info:

·         Position: Tilesetters Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $46.00/hr

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 2786 Lake Breeze Ct, Langford, BC V9B 6L6

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Supervise tilesetters and other construction workers assigned to tile installation projects

·         Coordinate and schedule daily work activities at various job sites

·         Review blueprints, drawings and project specifications to organize installation work

·         Prepare progress, productivity and other project-related reports

·         Estimate labour, material and equipment requirements for each project

·         Order tiles, adhesives, grout, tools, equipment and other required supplies

·         Set up and inspect tile-cutting machines, tools and other installation equipment

·         Train workers in installation procedures, equipment operation and workplace practices

·         Lead and instruct workers on work methods, project sequencing and quality standards

·         Ensure all workers follow occupational health and safety regulations

·         Recommend personnel actions based on employee performance and operational requirements

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 5 or more years of experience in the trade is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
