Position Info:

·         Position: Restoration Carpenter

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 1-1921 Broadway St, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 2N2

Job Duties:

·         Coordinate on-site reconstruction schedules and workflows

·         Develop construction layouts to ensure compliance with building codes

·         Interpret blueprints and restoration briefs to plan structural repairs for water-damaged properties

·         Survey building levels, layouts, and foundations to assess flood damage and ensure precise structural alignment

·         Estimate labor and material costs to generate repair quotes for clients

·         Fabricate and assemble wood, lightweight steel, and substitute materials to replace ruined structural elements

·         Rebuild frameworks, focusing on subflooring, floor beams, walls, and roof systems

·         Install doors, windows, stairs, and interior trim to seamlessly restore properties

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of relevant carpentry experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
