Position Info:

·         Position: Daycare Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 1585 MacGowan Ave, North Vancouver, BC V7P 2X1

Job Duties:

·         Direct the daily workflows of the teaching team to maintain a safe, secure, and health-conscious learning environment

·         Support educators in delivering curriculum-based activities tailored to developmental needs

·         Design and execute childcare programs focused on physical, cognitive, and social-emotional growth

·         Facilitate interactive learning through storytelling, musical instruction, creative crafts, and field trips

·         Instruct children on fundamental life skills, including nutritional habits, personal dressing, and hygiene routines

·         Organize and lead staff meetings to evaluate child progress and address challenges

·         Oversee the procurement of educational materials and ensure maintenance facility equipment

·         Identify potential behavioral or learning challenges and document observations

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of experience in childcare as well as supervisory experience is required

·         Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required

·         Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate and ECE Certificate

·         Language: English
