Position Info:

·         Position: Construction Labourer

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 3887 33rd St W, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5W4

Benefits:

·         5.77% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Move, load and unload construction materials, tools and supplies to and from renovation work areas.

·         Assist tradespeople with framing, wall installation and other structural components during residential renovation and improvement projects.

·         Set up and take down temporary work platforms, barriers and other site structures as required for renovation projects.

·         Prepare, mix and place construction materials such as concrete and other compounds used for renovation and repair work.

·         Sort, clean and organize reusable or salvaged materials removed during renovation work.

·         Carry out basic maintenance and minor repair tasks under the direction of experienced tradespeople.

·         Remove renovation debris, waste materials and discarded building materials from work areas and maintain clean and safe job sites.

·         Assist with basic construction tools and equipment and supply materials as required during renovation work.

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a general construction labourer is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
