Job Requirements

Languages: English.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience: Experience an asset

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Employer’s home

Tasks: Administer bedside and personal care, Administer medications, Assist clients in water (i.e. pool), Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, Change non-sterile dressings, Collect specimens, Feed or assist in feeding, Launder clothing and household linens, Mend clothing and linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Provide companionship, Provide personal care, Shop for food and household supplies, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Cook.

Experience and specialization: Persons with Alzheimer’s disease, Elderly, Females, Persons with physical disabilities, Terminally ill

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Walking, Work under pressure
