Position: Project Coordinator

Term: Permanent Full-time

Salary: $37.00/hr

Work Hours: 30-35 hours per week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Answer and forward incoming calls effectively. Respond to all inquires or forward them to appropriate person

·       Greet customers coming to store in a professional and friendly manner

·       Check mailbox and distribute to the appropriate staff

·       Monitor office supplies inventory and order office supplies when necessary

·       Coordinator and manage quotes, orders, installs, and post-install inquiries

·       Calculate square footage production numbers for prior day/shift and provide to assigned staff for updating.

·       Read and interpret drawings and provide on-site support to salespersons as needed

·       Check all machines/equipment to ensure proper material is at each station and ensure job quality.

·       Drive (up to approximately 150km one day) within Lower Mainland to visit sites when required

·       Chase down any missing pieces or processes and solve problem arising from installation.

·       Obtain details to complete project.

·       Set up times and reminders for production and installation.

·       Maintain stocked shop supplies and order as needed.

·       Coordinate with sales manager and production & installation crew on multiple projects.

·       Provide information to accounting department for invoicing.

·       Prepare, submit and file all applicable warranty paperwork.

·       Conduct monthly and annual sales and inventory analysis, prepare analytical reports, and provide data-driven recommendations to management.

·       Coordinate shipments from overseas, liaise with freight companies, provide required documentation, and complete related shipping information and forms for freight companies.

·       Participate in dealer training and customer visits as needed.

 

 

Qualified applicants should possess the following skills:

·       Bachelor’s degree

·       At least two years experiences in administration, sales or related field

·       Valid BC Driver’s Licence with own vehicle

·       Experience using 2020 Design software

·       Ability to read and interpret drawing layout and calculate square footage

·       Great communication and customer service skills

·       Excellent computer skills required with aptitude for learning new software and following procedures

·       Attention to detail and willing to work hard and be a part of a team

·       Kitchen and bath experience preferred but not required

·       Familiarity with cabinet manufacturing processes, materials, and hardware, including knowledge of panel types, finishes, and construction methods, is not required but will be considered an asset.
