Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (All positions are permanent)

Schedule: Must be available to work split shifts, holidays, evenings, and weekends as required.

Wage: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience

Additional Compensation: share of gratuity

Benefits: Extended medical benefits after 1 year of employment (full-time positions only). Vacation pay of 5.77 % as per Saskatchewan Employment Standards. Free parking available.

Role:

As a Cook at Mano’s, you will prepare and execute dishes with precision, consistency, and care. You will work closely with our kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals, maintaining a clean and organized workstation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in crafting excellent food.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

–          Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards.

–          Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders.

–          Store food in designated areas following all corporate and provincial food safety and sanitation procedures.

–          Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures.

–          Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils.

–          Clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area.

–          Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to comply with all sanitation, safety, production and merchandising requirements.

–          Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to associates and customers.

–          Keep up with peak production and service hours.

–          Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies.

–          Track product production, consumption, and waste.

–          Inform supervisor when supplies or products are low.

Job Requirements:

Professional Requirements

–          At minimum, must have a culinary diploma/certificate or at least 1 year of commercial cooking experience

–          Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing

–          Must be able to stand and walk throughout a 3 to 8-hour shift

–          Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 lbs
