Position Info:

·         Position: Sprinkler Fitter

·         Wage: $39.00/hour

·         Working Hour: 30 – 40 hours/week

·         Work Location: 9600 Cameron St. Unit# 272, Burnaby, BC V3J 7N3

Job Duties:

·         Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fire codes to determine precise system layouts.

·         Install support structures, including clamps, brackets, and hangers, for fire protection piping.

·         Measure, cut, ream, and thread pipe sections to meet specific project dimensions.

·         Mount sprinkler heads and secure prepared piping into designated support systems.

·         Join pipe sections and fittings using professional soldering and welding equipment.

·         Connect fire protection systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, and compressors.

·         Install essential system components, including valves, alarms, and control equipment.

·         Test completed piping systems for leaks and functionality using air or liquid pressure equipment.

·         Service and repair existing sprinkler systems to ensure continuous operation and code compliance.

Job Requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related field is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
