Job Overview
MA’S SUSHI is seeking a dedicated Sushi Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Experience is an asset
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and finalize simple menu items, including sushi
Measure, portion, and package take-out orders
Restock condiments and supplies at dining tables and service stations
Arrange, clear, and clean tables, trays, and seating areas
Operate dishwashing equipment and manually clean, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, and utensils
Scrub and maintain pots, pans, and other kitchen tools
Replenish refrigerators, salad bars, and storage areas with ingredients and supplies
Receive deliveries, unpack items, and store them properly in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including work surfaces, appliances, and storage spaces
Use both manual and electric kitchen equipment to clean, peel, slice, and prepare food items
Take customer orders and provide service at counters or buffet stations
Handle, store, and use cleaning products safely
Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage appropriately
Sweep, mop, clean, and polish floors
Sharpen and maintain kitchen knives
Track food inventory and report supply needs
Perform additional duties as needed to support smooth kitchen operations
