MLP Painting & Construction LTD. is looking for an experienced Painting Contractor to lead and complete residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality results.
Languages: English
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Tasks:
– Prepare production and other reports
– Supervise workers and projects
– Co-ordinate and schedule activities
– Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
– Train or arrange for training
– Manage own company
– Estimate costs and materials
– Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
– Recommend personnel actions
– Read blueprints and drawings
– Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
– Leading/instructing individuals
The work is primarily conducted outdoors in a construction and residential setting, where employees are regularly exposed to noisy, dusty conditions and are required to work at heights. The position involves supervising a team of 5 to 10 workers while maintaining productivity and safety standards under pressure. Successful candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and demonstrate reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced work environment.
