Job Title: Home support worker

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 35h/Week

Wage: $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
• Assist with light housekeeping (e.g., cleaning, laundry, dishes)
• Prepare meals and assist with eating if needed
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Support mobility and monitor physical well-being
• Assist with bathing, dressing, undressing, and personal hygiene
• Accompany to medical appointments as needed
• Shop for groceries and daily household necessities
• Ensure a safe and organized living environment

Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary education is required
• Relevant experience in home support or equivalent training is preferred
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices
• Kind, patient, and empathetic nature
• Physically capable of performing light household tasks
• A valid driver’s license is an asset, but not mandatory
