Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)

Job Duties:

· Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the food service team.

· Coordinate daily food preparation requirements with the chef.

· Supervise employees to ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently.

· Train staff on workplace procedures, food handling, sanitation, and safety requirements.

· Monitor food quality, portion control, and customer service standards.

· Handle customer feedback and assist in resolving service-related concerns.

· Track inventory levels, food usage, waste, and equipment issues.

· Complete operational reports and maintain accurate records related to daily business activities.

· Prepare staff schedules and adjust work assignments to meet operational requirements.

Supervision: Supervise 3-4 food and beverage servers.

Work Hours Per Week: 37.5 – 44 hours per Week

Wage: $20 per hour (overtime rate applies after 44 hours per week or 8 hours per day)

Contract duration: Permanent Continuous Full Time, Non-Seasonal

Language of work: English

Benefits: Gratuities, Vacation Pay paid according to Alberta employment standards, Group Benefits – Life Insurance, Health & Dental Benefits & Paramedical Services available after 3 months. Employees are required to pay 50% of their coverage; deducted from their bi-weekly wages.

Education Required: Completion of Secondary (High) school

Work Experience Required: 1 year to less than 2 years of Food Service Supervisor Experience
