Position Info:

·         Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: #2-10320 Whalley Blvd, Surrey, BC V3T 4H4

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare precise dental casts and moulds from impressions to support the fabrication of prosthetic appliances

·         Cast metal frameworks using gold or alloy materials for dental restorations such as bridges and denture bases

·         Apply and shape wax over denture setups to refine structure and ensure proper alignment prior to final processing

·         Perform detailed finishing of metal denture frameworks to meet required specifications and quality standards

·         Polish and buff completed dentures to achieve smooth surfaces and optimal aesthetic appearance

·         Process acrylic or plastic materials in moulds to fabricate full or partial dentures in accordance with case requirements

·         Fabricate orthodontic bands using metal alloys based on technical specifications and lab instructions

·         Ensure proper sterilization, maintenance, and safe handling of laboratory instruments and equipment in compliance with hygiene protocols

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 3-5 years of related experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
