GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Responsible to the Hatchery Operations Coordinator and/ or Hatchery Production Coordinator for the performance of specifically outlined tasks. Pacific Pride Chicks Ltd. is committed to efficient and profitable production of top quality leghorn chicks to meet market requirements, respecting company standards and governmental regulations, following the highest prescribed bio-security standards and animal welfare practices; from an attractive and well-maintained facility with the help and cooperation of qualified and motivated personnel.

RESPSONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1.    Responsible for following company related policies.

2.    Responsible for being self-motivated and working independently.

3.    Responsible for following bio-security policies.

4.    Performs all duties related to egg tray up, egg transfers, chick pulling, and chick delivery in an efficient and effective manner.

5.    Performs general cleaning of hatchery facilities, setter rooms, hatcher rooms and equipment according to Company guidelines.

6.    Ensures accurate daily completion of records and statistics.

7.    Informs supervisor and/or management immediately of any concerns and/or problems.

8.    Responsible for the knowledge of all WHMIS and TDG regulations and procedures.

9.    Maintains knowledge of and, executes all Company Safety Policies and Procedures as required by the organization and other regulatory agencies.

10.  Maintains and represents a professional and positive image for the company at all times.

11.    Performs other related duties as assigned.

12.    Functions as a team member.

Salay rate: $18.25 per hour
