Position Info:

·         Position: Infants’ Daycare Worker

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.50/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 8249 Eagle Landing Pkwy, Chilliwack, BC V2R 0P9

Job Duties:

·         Design developmental programs that support infant and toddler physical, cognitive, and social growth.

·         Lead interactive activities including storytelling, music, and art to encourage expression and motor skills.

·         Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment to ensure the health and security of all children.

·         Monitor developmental milestones and provide regular progress updates to parents and colleagues.

·         Identify potential learning or behavioral needs and document observations for further support.

·         Guide children through essential daily routines including feeding, dressing, and toilet training.

·         Collaborate with coworkers and community partners to maintain high standards of integrated care.

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: Experience is an asset

·         Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required

·         Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Infant/Toddler Certificate (ECE Level 3)

·         Language: English
