Position Info:

·         Position: Retail Sales Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $36.00-$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 229 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, ON M5T 2E2

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Schedule shifts and assign daily floor duties to sales staff

·         Order merchandise and track souvenir inventory levels

·         Organize stockrooms and set up visual merchandise displays

·         Resolve customer complaints, authorize returns, and handle supply shortages

·         Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate gift shop employees

·         Sell merchandise directly to customers and operate POS systems

·         Prepare reports on daily sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel

·         Oversee payroll administration and employee timekeeping

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 3-5 years of retail experience, including supervisory experience, is required
