Job Description:
- Assist the client with personal care needs and routine activities of daily living.
- Provide medication assistance in accordance with the client’s established medication schedule and instructions.
- Support the client with mobility and regular physical activities, including walking and light exercise.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and follow any specific dietary or therapeutic meal requirements.
- Offer companionship and social interaction and provide general support with the client’s day-to-day routine.
- Carry out light housekeeping duties, including general cleaning and maintaining a tidy and comfortable living environment.
- Wash, dry and organize clothing, bedding and household linens as needed.
- Purchase groceries, food items and other household necessities for the client.
- Assist with routine household and personal activities to help the client remain comfortable and independent at home.
- Pay attention to the client’s general well-being and communicate any noticeable changes or concerns to the employer or family.
