Responsibilities
Tasks
Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of employees involved in food preparation, handling, and portioning.
Provide staff training on work procedures, food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Determine the quantities of food ingredients and supplies needed for daily operations.
Monitor food preparation and service to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with established standards.
Respond to customer feedback, resolve complaints, and address service-related concerns.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases, sales, equipment repairs, and food wastage.
Ensure food preparation and presentation are consistent with the restaurant’s menu and culinary style.
Develop and assign employee work schedules to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
