Overview

A busy professional family in Kuujjuaq is looking for a caregiver for two children who will also handle housekeeping and other domestic tasks. This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a salary of $17.88 per hour. The caregiver will have two days off, usually on Saturday and Sunday, though this may vary depending on the employer’s shifts, so flexibility is essential. There is an option to stay with the employer at no additional cost. In the absence of the parents, the caregiver may be required to take care of the house as well as the children. The position requires proficiency in either French or English.

General High school diploma – Completed

*Experience related to employment:

1-2 Years of experience with children or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a teacher, nurse, midwife, or psychologist is required.
