Overview

We require a full-time home support worker to provide in-home support for two elderly individuals, one of whom have health issues. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday. This is not a live-in position.

Key responsibilities include:

• Care for elders
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Assist with feeding, bathing and dressing
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Accompany to medical appointments
• Provide companionship
• Assist with shopping

Employment requirements:

• Post-Secondary Education or Diploma in Health Care Assistance, Health Care Aid or higher education
• Minimum 1 year of caregiver work experience with seniors, specifically involving memory care/dementia and physical mobility/transfer techniques/wheelchair assistance

• Hourly wage: $24.50
• Hours per week: 40 hours per week
• No benefit package
• Location: Vancouver, BC V6S 0A7
