Position Info:

·         Position: Bottle Depot Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 1125 Industrial Rd 3, Cranbrook, BC V1C 5E3

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Plan and coordinate the full scope of operational activities including collection, sorting, processing, and shipping

·         Supervise, schedule, and train staff on daily duties, while providing performance feedback

·         Coordinate logistics by scheduling routes and dispatching crews to ensure efficient material distribution and meet shipping deadlines.

·         Arrange for preventative maintenance and immediate repairs as needed

·         Ensure full compliance with safety, security, and operational regulations

·         Monitor and maintain supply levels and requisition materials or equipment

·         Recruit, interview, and hire new clerks

·         Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues and customer complaints

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary education is required

·         Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the occupation supervised are required
