Position Info:
- Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $52,000 – $57,500/year (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2

Job Duties:
- Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Support children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Engage children in storytelling, songs, and crafts to encourage social and cognitive growth
- Prepare snacks and set up rooms for lunch and rest periods
- Provide written observations on children’s progress to early childhood educators or supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Attend staff meetings to review children’s development and address any concerns
Job requirements:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in childcare is required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate and E.C.E.A. Certificate
- Language: English
