Position Info:

·         Position: Dental Laboratory Assistant

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $30.00 – $32.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 2

·         Work Location: 205-14888 104th Avenue, Surrey, BC V3R 1M4

Job Duties:

·         Prepare plaster models and moulds using dental impressions

·         Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays

·         Pour and shape gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases

·         Fill moulds with plastic material to create full or partial dentures

·         Shape wax over denture setup to create natural gum contours

·         Craft orthodontic bands from various metals such as gold, silver, or stainless steel

·         Finalize metal framework of dentures, and polish and buff them to achieve a natural finish

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 1-2 years of related experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
