Smart Meal Bar and Grill Restaurant is looking to hire a Cook (TEER 63200) on a permanent full-time basis.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Wages: $18.00 per hour

Hours: 35 hours a week

Number of Vacancies: 1

Minimum Education: Secondary school or Ged equivalent

Minimum Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in the same occupation

Job Duties:

1.      Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

2.      Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

3.      Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.

4.      Inspect kitchen and food service areas.

5.      Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

6.      Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

7.      Manage kitchen operations.
