Position Info:

·         Position: Home Child Care Provider

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 4505 Clinton St., Burnaby, BC V5J 2K6

Benefits:

·         10 days of paid vacation per year

Job Duties:

·         Attend to feeding, diapering, and bathing routines for the infant and toddler throughout the day

·         Assist with toilet training for the older child following parental guidance and readiness cues

·         Wash and sterilize bottles and prepare formula for the infant as required

·         Plan and prepare nutritious meals suited to each child’s age and stage of development

·         Ready the children for naps and settle them into consistent sleep routines

·         Keep the home clean, organized, and safe, including light housekeeping tasks

·         Guide the children’s early hygiene habits, social development, and emotional well-being through daily interaction

·         Monitor the children’s overall well-being and accompany them to appointments and outings

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 1-2 years of related experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
