What You’ll Do

As Restaurant Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our busy East Indian restaurant, guiding a team of 5–10 staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Your key responsibilities include:

Plan, organize, and evaluate daily restaurant operations
Monitor revenues and analyze budget to boost profitability
Adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing to meet budget goals
Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule staff
Monitor staff performance and provide coaching
Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
Cost products and services; organize and maintain inventory
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Negotiate supply arrangements with food and product vendors
Negotiate with clients for catering or facility rental
Support marketing plans and help implement promotional activities
Address customer complaints and ensure guest satisfaction

 

What We’re Looking For

You’re a great fit if you have:

3 to 5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry
A valid Safe Food Handling Certificate and/or Food Safety Certificate
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
A client-focused mindset and a commitment to quality service
Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends
Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Experience working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
