Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Work Location: #1-612 Head St, Victoria, BC V9A 5S8

Benefits:

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook Japanese menu items according to established restaurant recipes and quality standards

·         Modify food preparation procedures to safely accommodate customer allergies and dietary restrictions

·         Inspect food prep stations and kitchen equipment daily to guarantee safety and compliance

·         Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cooking utensils, and food preparation areas throughout shifts

·         Track ingredient stock levels and record usage of kitchen supplies to avoid shortages

·         Order food ingredients and kitchen supplies directly from designated vendors

·         Oversee kitchen helpers during daily food prep and raw ingredient processing

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
